SCOTT GILL - PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

Emmy award winning producer, Scott Gill, has worked extensively in both the scripted and unscripted genres throughout his career. He is the Writer/Director of the influential independent feature documentary THE MARS UNDERGROUND which was released on The Discovery Channel and has bagged over 16 million YouTube views.

He is the Creator/Producer of the prime-time cable series WALL STREET WARRIORS which for three seasons captured the lives of Wall Streeters during the historic rise and fall of the financial crisis of 2006 to 2009. He is now producing the independent narrative feature THE ROMAN and overseeing a team of creatives in the creation of advertising and event capture.

Scott Gill

Gill began his career in the movies as an assistant editor to Oscar-winning film editor Dody Dorn (MEMENTO) and to Arthur Coburn (THE MASK). He traveled the world working on motion pictures as diverse as DANGEROUS BEAUTY (Rome), SOLOMON AND SHEBA (Morocco). Gill then moved up to the position of film editor, cutting independent feature films like PHANTASM III, BUBBA HO-TEP, PHANTASM OBLIVION and TWEAKER for distributors like MGM and UNIVERSAL. Peppered throughout his career, Gill has cut numerous television shows and documentaries for networks including SHOWTIME, DISCOVERY & VH1.

Gill has also filmed the documentary THE BLOOD EARTH about a survivor of the killing fields - shot entirely on location in Cambodia. Gill was nominated for the Student Academy Award in for his student film OBLIVION.
